About Us
Nelson Tasman Community Sport Events Incorporated (NTCS Events) operating as "Active4Good" was formed in January 2023 by a group of volunteers who took over the operation of the popular "Honest Lawyer 5k Fun Run & Walk Series". The group was also responsible historically for organising the Monaco Mid Winter Marathon and Tophouse Trails events. The idea of those events being a low barrier to entry to sport and all proceeds from the event donated to charity.
Wanting to ensure that all organised events follow the same direction, a group of 20 or so individuals formed the Society and instilled into its rules that all proceeds from their events will go to supporting active recreation in Nelson Tasman.
All our events are designed to be fun, friendly and low cost and are operated on a not-for-profit basis by enthusiastic volunteers.

Membership
Under the Incorporated Societies Act, we are required to have a minimum of 15 members at all times. Our members have voting rights on where our funds are donated and an input into the direction of the Society and its events.
